Veterans, families and their friends are invited to a Veterans and Community Picnic, hosted by American Legion Post 351, on Saturday, Aug. 7, beginning at 11 a.m. The annual picnic event will include hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and drinks and will also feature area organizations that will be on site to discuss VA enrollment and VA benefits. Detroit VA staff will be on hand to assist Veterans with enrollment and benefits questions.
 
The picnic will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7, at American Legion Post 351, 46146 Cass Ave., Utica, MI, 48317. For more information, call the American Legion Post 351 at 586-731-9833.
