Neurology

The mission of the department of neurology is to provide clinical services to veterans with needs in epilepsy, seizure, stroke, neurovascular disorders, neuropathic pain, headache, movement disorders, nervous system tumors, nervous system infections, peripheral nerve disorders, neurological autoimmune disorders (such as multiple sclerosis) and muscular disorders.  We are a member of the VA Spinal Cord Injury and Disorders (SCI/D) program.  We serve veterans with both inpatient and outpatient needs.

We provide diagnostic services that include electroencephalogram and evoked potential studies.  We provide therapeutic procedures such as botulism toxin injection for movement disorders.  More invasive injection procedures are provided by other groups.
